ZOLL AED Trax 

The ZOLL AED Trax is an external communication module for the ZOLL AED 3. This module allows you to monitor and manage the defibrillator remotely, without needing to be physically present at the device. This provides continuous insight into the operation and readiness of the AED. 

Insight into the status of your defibrillator

The ZOLL AED 3 performs automatic self-tests on, among other things, the battery, electrodes and general operation. The AED Trax receives this data and transmits it remotely, providing a clear overview of the status. This includes information on the battery status, remaining battery life and the expiry date of the electrodes. If anything changes or maintenance is required, you will automatically receive a notification. 

Works even without Wi-Fi 

The AED Trax uses a mobile connection. This means the system continues to operate in locations where Wi-Fi is not available, such as outdoor sites or remote areas. The defibrillator therefore remains connected and monitorable at all times. 

Insight into location and usage 

AED Trax enables the location of the defibrillator to be tracked. Fixed storage locations can be set via RFID, making it clear where the defibrillator is located. When the defibrillator is moved or deployed, the system automatically sends a notification. Additionally, the GPS location can be transmitted when the defibrillator is used or moved, if available. 

Environmental monitoring 

The AED Trax also monitors the environmental conditions around the defibrillator. It measures temperature, humidity and air pressure. This helps to ensure the defibrillator is stored under the correct conditions. The module is suitable for use at temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +60 °C, making it suitable for a wide variety of environments. 

Alerts and data processing 

You receive email alerts when the defibrillator is used or when action is required. All data is securely stored via ZOLL Online and can be viewed via the management platform. After a deployment, case data is automatically forwarded for further analysis. 

Central management via PlusTrac 

All data is collected in the PlusTrac system. This allows you to monitor and manage multiple defibrillators simultaneously. Case data is also automatically forwarded after a deployment for analysis and reporting.

Installation and use 

The AED Trax is designed as a plug-and-play solution for the ZOLL AED 3. The module has its own battery with a lifespan of approximately 5 years and has little impact on the AED’s own battery. The AED Trax is suitable for both new and existing devices.
