The device is 870 grams and has a short charging time of 16 seconds, meaning the shock can be delivered quickly. Two batteries are included when ordering the DefiSign Pocket Plus AED. The life of the external batteries varies depending on use:

-    Weekly self-test: about 1 year and 6 months
-    Monthly self-test: approximately 2 years and 6 months

In addition, the defibrillator has an internal battery, which should be replaced after about 6 years.
